2 GRIFFITHS To the Memory of/JOHN GRIFFITHS Esqre./late of /who died in this Parish 17th Septr. 1822/in the 68th year of his age/Also of ELIZABETH, his widow/who departed this life/16th April 1824/in the 56th year of her age.  
3 SCHALCH This Window is very ornate and includes two scenes. The upper one depicts St.Philip in conversation with the Ethiopian eunuch, treasurer to Candace,Queen of the Ethiopians.
Lower window shows an elderly woman appearing to be bringing a child in her arms to give to a woman lying in bed The second woman is decidedly unhappy with her hand over her heart. The clothing is biblical, the furnishings Middle Aged.
Over the hand of Philip is the word ESAIA written on an intrusive piece of white glass and, in like fashion, the word BENONI on the bed curtain between the baby's head and that of the woman in the bed. At the bottom of the window - To the Memory of PHILIP SCHALCH and MARY his wife.

9 SPILLER To the memory/of JULIA wife of ROBERT SPILLER of Guilford St.London/and daughter of JOHN ROBINS,Esq/who having for a few years/by a meek patient and affectionate disposition/continued the happiness of her husband and family/died at her father's house in this place on the 2nd day of May 1811/in the 31st year of her age/This testimony is inscribed by her afflicted husband/as a last tribute of his respect and affection

12 PAVEY Window 3, the East window, dominates the Church mainly because of the clear glass which allows light to flood in - It depicts: -Christ still wearing his loin cloth with a red cloak over his shoulders, and holding a pennant with red cross on a white background. Beneath is a ribbon with "Death is swallowed up in Victory" on it. Below is a young angel holding the three nails surrounded by the crown of thorns. Above is a large crown and,on both sides there are three angels blowing trumpets.
In the bottom left corner - To the Glory of God and to keep/in Memory GEOGE PAVEY and his daughter GERTRUDE MARY PAVEY/this window was given in 1936.

16 WILLIAMS In Memoriam/ALWYN TERRELL PETRE WILLIAMS/1888 - 1968/Lord Bishop of Durham and of Winchester/who spent the evening of his days/in Charmouth/A man greatly beloved.  
17 BULLEN In memory of/CHARLES BULLEN,Captain in the Royal Navy a Justice of the Peace for Dorset/and MARY ANNE (BAKER) his wife. They resided/for many years at the Manor House in this/parish,and died at a ripe old age/honoured and beloved by all their/neighbours. The remains are interred/in the Churchyard adjoining Christmas, 1885.

In a glass topped desk, directly below the Bullen Monument stands the Book of Remembrance - Prefaced-to the Glory of God and in proud and grateful memory of those from the Parish of Charmouth who gave their lives for the freedom of mankind.

21 BRAGGE The Rev. EDWARD BRAGGE was Rector of/Charmouth from 1698 - 1747. He married Mrs.MARTHA TROYTE in 1730./He so loved his dinner table that he asked/to be buried in it. His coffin was actually/made from this./His descendant JOHN BRAGGE figured in the/quarrel between JAMES WARDEN and/NORMAN BOND.  
22 COLLIER Sacred to the memory of JAMES COLLIER esq./of Dodington, Staffordshire/died 3 October, 1849,/and MARY ANNE his wife,/died 2 Jan. 1823.  
23 BRETON Window 4 depicts two ladies, one in a green robe the other in a blue, one has a large anchor, the other a wooden cross. Beneath is written:- "I look for the resurrection of the dead/And the life of the World to come"
At the bottom of the window - In loving memory of EDWARD ROSE BRETON M.A.:Rector of Charmouth/who fell asleep Jany 16th 1875 aged 71/This window is/erected by his widow HELEN C. BRETON Ao Dni 1878.
 
24 BRETON In memory of/HELEN CATHERINE BRETON,/widow of EDWARD R.BRETON M.A./sometime Rector of this parish/died April 15th 1902/aged 89.  
25 GORDON THOMAS GORDON,esq/of Middleton Court in the county of Somerset/and of Charmouth,Dorset,/died on the 21st day of March, 185 5,/in the 96th year of his age./On the 31st day of January in the same year/died JANE-CHARLOTTE his wife,/aged 80 years./This monument is erected to their memory/by MARY ANNE and LOUISA SHORT/their nieces and coheiresses.  
26 SANKEY To the Glory of God/and in proud and loving memory of Lieut /WILLIAM MANDEVILLE SANKEY M.C. 2nd Monmouth Regiment, who died at Ypres/March 23rd 1918. from wounds received the/previous day,aged 23 years (only son of Colonel/A.R.M.SANKEY,Royal Engineers).

Her children's trust and consolation is/that their loss/is her exceeding great reward/Also of MARY CULVERWELL,her sister/who died May 27, 1830 aged 83./"The Memory of the just is blessed".

35 BRETON In Memory of CHARLES EDWD B.BRETON Captain 4th KOR Regt. eldest son/of EDWD.R. & HELEN BRETON who died at Malta, March 18th 1866, aged 31.  
36 DIMOND As part of the Memorial window 6 there is a brass plaque inlaid in the sloping sill of the window. This window is erected by MRS. EDWD DIMOND,/sister of the Rev.EDWARD R.BRETON,/Rector of Charmouth,/in affectionate remembrance of her Nephew Capt.CHARLES EDWD BRETON/AD 1867.  
37 WESLEY Below window 6 in a small picture frame are photographs of the signatures of BARTHOLOMEW WESLEY and his son JOHN copied from the Deeds of a house in Charmouth which they sold on 24th March 1668. BARTHOLOMEW was Rector of Charmouth from 1640 - 1662 When he retired he lived for a time in Bridport where he practised medicine He died and was buried in Lyme in 1670. JOHN was Vicar of Winterbourne
Whitchurch from 1658 - 1662: he left when the Act of Uniformity came into force and henceforth he led the life of a wandered. His death is shrouded in mystery. His son SAMUEL was the father of JOHN and CHARLES. It should be noted that, in the "Short History of St. Andrew's Church, Charmouth" reference is made to BARTHOLOMEW WESTLEY, Rector of Charmouth 1640 - 1662, and it is pointed out that, according to Proc. WESLEY HUT.Soc.,1937, vol xxi,part 2, BARTHOLOMEW and JOHN "of the Charmouth Registers must not be confused with the Grandfather and Great-Grantfather of JOHN and CHARLES WESLEY".

39 PAVEY This Window is in the Shouth wall of the Annex and is mainly clear diamond glass except for two medallion stained sections. One section visible from the Gallery only, shows Sancta Cecilia with two little cherubs with halos and one is playing a primitive hand-held musical intstrument (A Psaltery)? The lower medallion, visible in the Annex only, shows a youth playing a harp. A ribbon carries "Praise Him with the Psaltery and Harp." In the bottom right-hand corner is a square section containing "To the Glory of God/and to keep in memory/CLARA ANN PAVEY/this window was given in 1938".

41 TAYLOR This Window in the North Wall of the Annex is mainly clear diamond glass, but in this case there is only one stained medallion and that is at Annex level. It shows Christ blessing a man who is kneeling before him reverently. In the right-hand lower corner it says - In loving Memory of/ARTHUR EDGAR TAYLOR/and EILEEN his wife".  
42 HARRIS In memory of/Mrs.MARY HARRIS/wife of/STEPHEN HARRIS,Esq./who died January the 7th 1812/Aged 66.  
43   The Window between Annex and north door depicts, at the top, the baptism of Christ in the River Jordan with the caption "This is my beloved son" and below, Christ taking the children in his arms and blessing them. (No Dedication).

50 HALES In the Safe there are several items. Cruet in the sense of a small bottle for holding wine, glass with silver attatchments. On a band around the middle of the cruet - In loving memory of MAJ. GENERAL ARTHUR HALES O Bit Apl 1904/from ENDS
Includes an Elizabethan cup with a band of engraved ornament on the bowl, a pair of cups of 1787�8, a stand-paten of 1716 engraved with the arms of Ellesdon, an alms-dish of 1834 and a Sheffield-plate flagon of 1823
 
51 HALES Silver Chalice.To the glory of God and in dear memory of MAJOR GENERAL ARTHUR HALES,27th Iniskillings, who was baptised and a devout communicant in this Church, OB. 1904 RIP. This Chalice and Paten are offered by his loving wife and children.

In 1834 Roberts writes: In the churchyard, on a raised Tomb, much defaced. Margaret Stackley or Stuckley, the daughter of John Limbry. John Limbry appears on 1642 Protestation List for Charmouth. Probably Stukeley, a famous family from Affeton in Devon, who were sherriffs of the County.

North Side-Left Panel He was created Lieut of his Majesty's Navy/in the year 1760, in which capacity he served/his country with reputation and success./ He was in 19 engagements during the/memorable expedition against the French fleet/under the gallant Hawke, and was present at the/surrender of Belleisle. On the commencement of hostilities with America/he voluntarily came/forward to offer his service, and was in the/ number of those who/first landed the British/grenadiers on that shore. After escaping the/various dangers inseparable from his profession,/he had the misfortune to experience/the untimely end above mentioned.
