ADRIAN WHITE, who you may remember reading about in the June issue, has returned from his fund raising trek for Mencap. He scaled Japan's highest peak and suffered sleepless nights due to the fearsome snoring of his tent buddy. Wrinkly, smelly feet, blisters, sore knees, and discovered that his waterproof clothing...wasn't. But, he says it was all worth while for the thrill of reaching the 3,776m and the reward of the stunning views and what he described as a most memorable and amazing experience. At the same time Adrian raised £3,300 for Mencap and he would like to thank all those in Freshford, Limpley Stoke and Hinton Charterhouse who supported him in his venture. Congratulations Adrian. What is next?
