In the foreground of this old photograph of Barton farm and its great
Tithe Barn is the original wooden bridge designed by Brunel which carried
the railway over the Avon west of the station. A box girder bridge replaced
the wooden bridge later in the 19th century and itself was replaced by
a more modern bridge.
