Bradford-on-Avon Signal Box, c. 1920. This is a photograph of the signal box that controlled the goods yard at Bradford-on-Avon. It was located a short distance from the Bath end of the station and in the background, Barton Farm can be seen. With the end of goods facilities it was no longer required and was subsequently demolished. The goods yard is now used as a car park. A clue as to the approximate date is the acetylene lighting on the signalman's bicycle leaning on the steps.
