FRESHFORD MUSIC AND DRAMA GROUP
For nearly 40 years, Freshford Music and Drama Group has put on two productions a year, with a summer Garden Meeting and monthly meetings, bringing great enjoyment to participants and audiences alike. We are fortunate to have good facilities to make these possible. However, because of a lack of new members in recent years we are having to consider closing the Group down. This would be a very great loss to the community I particularly for the children and young people. Before we take the final step, we are appealing to anyone in the community who is interested in taking any part in a production, on or off the stage, or who would be willing to be generally supportive, to let us know -in the hope that we can flourish once again. Would you be interested in joining us? If so, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please ring Margaret Wiggins (Hon Secretary) at 01225 723540 or Margaret Dodge (Chairman) at 01225722339 Meanwhile we are holding monthly play readings on the last Friday of each month. The first one will be on January 25th at 7.30pm. See "Diary Dates" Anyone would be most welcome to join us.
